“Sorry, Joke, for not being able to meet you in the final round. But that guy is really strong.”

Artit said as soon as everyone dispersed to take a break in different spots of the room. Some went out to buy drinks from the convenience store. As for Joke, he found a quiet spot to sit in front of the duel zone while using the precious time to examine his own deck to find a combo that would be the most useful. It was then that his mischievous best friend came to talk to him with a sheepish look. He looked like he was feeling guilty.

“Why are you apologizing to me? I didn’t expect to meet you in the final from the start.”

“Whoa! How come you’re saying that? That hurts!”

Artit retorted in a high-pitched tone, making Joke let out a long sigh.

“I’m saying that we can fight anytime. There’s no need for it to be in a draft tournament’s final round at all. If you want, we can even use our real decks against each other.”

“You really don’t have that shared feeling of thrill among men.”
