"Having the flu is still bad; I'll call the doctor."

"It's Okay... don't always overreact..." Valerie sat up, then smoothed her slightly tousled hair while looking at Damian. "I'll call Mom... I'll ask her to look after Daniel while we're here."

Damian remained silent with a frustrated expression, letting Valerie make the call. He lay there, his gaze directed at his stomach, feeling the urge to unwrap the bandages and check if it had healed as if he couldn't stand being in the hospital continuously.
