At 8 a.m.
Damian got out of his car after stopping in the yard of his family's mansion, then walked towards the main door where his father was waiting for him on the terrace. The man still looked a bit messy and sleepy, so he was too lazy to look at his father.
"Honestly, I'm sick of seeing you," said Darius curtly.
"Then don't look at me," Damian replied, continuing to walk past his father.
Darius immediately turned around, following Damian until he stopped in the living room. "How can you continue like this? You just left Karina even though you knew she needed you, even her father entrusted you to look after her?"
Damian continued walking as if he didn't care about Darius' chatter.
"Where are your feelings? Where is your conscience?" Darius asked impatiently, continuing to follow Damian. "Can you change your decision after seeing Karina?"
Damian stopped when his feet landed on the steps, then turned to look at his father.
