"How would I know?" his friend responded with a solemn expression on his face before he added, "But I heard something about the aliens?"

This type of conversation was spreading like wildfire in the safe zone of the Desolate land, which was also the base of the military.

Since the sudden appearance of Rank-2 beasts, the military had been on the move, deploying heavy artillery. 

As for the various schools, each had gathered most of their students, both dead and alive.
