Ok, I will give you a very frank review.In writing - it was very bad at the begining but gets better each chapter. A proof reading would be advised.Story - It is a more realistic and grounded take on dxd, love it.Background - it has elements of darksouls, enough said.Overall a solid 4.9 out of 5. High praise because I can literally see the inprovement every chapter. 👍 hope this continues.
it says dxd fanfic but in name, it doesn't have any interaction with dxd characters at all. the best way to describe MC a shounen protagonist as you can tell by the title Spear boy. Doing side quests, helping family reunite, slaying gods what do you want more. Has the power of talk no jotsu also past life trauma and also has a clone ability that he uses, the clones have complete free will. Although not the best dxd fanfic I've seen scratch that this dxd fanfic in name only "reincarnated with a holy spear as spear boy in fantasy world named dxd" would be the way to correctly describe it.
While the story started well enough, he got strong really fast but didn’t change accordingly, it just feels weird to see a guy stronger then all the gods in the pantheon interacting with mortals that he met after becoming powerful like they were equals, its like seeing a billionaire sitting in the middle of the street chatting with a homeless guy, just feels weird. Not to mention that there is no real direction to the story, things just seemed to happen to forcefully and fast.

It's not a well thought out or elaborate fic, it's basically a fic about an OP MC beating up annoying gods. The fic is full of stupid characters and lines like a mention of a bunch of weak wizards that the professor had to stop from trying to hunt down and dissect the MC after seeing the incredibly powerful MC kill some gods. It's a good casual read if you want to see an OP MC beating up some enemies, but other than that don't expect anything good.

The writing is good, I've checked five chapters and definitely plan to read it when it reaches 100 chapters. A few things that made me temporarily lose interest tho- You should've used third PoV instead of first in the beginning chapters because your style of writing was more narrative then it was 'character' it comes as dull and makes the mc seem boring or 'emotionless'? ig. 2. A few things were rushed that felt off. The vials... it was too random and out of place, I'd just give him a headache and stuff information into his mind and explain briefly what every vial does. I felt lost reading that. The other thing is the first fight in which you said 'whispers'. Having just written 'duck', 'step left', 'jump' in between paragraphs would be helpful. Vague commands like these would let us understand as readers why the sickly boy was able to even fight.Anyways, like the fic. Will read it in the future.

I rarely write reviews so here we are .Really interesting premise with cao cao SI I only saw cao cao SI once before and it was dropped.This cao cao had 3 essences, he didn't serve Indra but he's learning under Scathach (overused ik but well if u want to kill a god using a spear who better choice than her).In This fic Cao Cao lived up to his Longinus namesake a god slayer weapon and he indeed killed a god and i hope he pulls Kratos on them. The update is amazing author could pull up multiple chapters per day (idk what he's been smoking, but I want one).I hope author didnt drop this fic .Good job author!
Can read past chapter 1 the fact mc as kid withou knowing how to fight can fight against adult that know magic is ridiculous, even more so when he fights many at the same time. Even worst is that author simple give mc 3 cheat withou any explanation of why only now he is gaining it
Five stars for having an interesting concept and for someone who appreciates Ezio
so far its just the mc training against shadow creatures for 80% of the novel. might come back if the chapters update frequently but so far its trash.
A dxd fic with a Cao Cao SI which isn't normally done and the MC hasn't just run to the devils so this not a canon rehash which is a very big plus point for this fanfic. The power of Get Creative is busted and add in the essence of Blank and Archmage should tell you that the MC will become OP in the future. But the author has made quite an effort to make sure that this fic doesn't become just another power fantasy.
