"Nice, it's looking good," I remarked with a satisfied nod.

"Yeah...our old furniture was nice and all, but these just give off a really elegant, classy vibe," Replied Aura in agreement.

Well, these are based on the modern furniture designs of my old world, after all. Our old furniture were a lot more simplistic in design, so this is a definite upgrade.

Today's the 31st of October, 1039, what would be Halloween in my old world, but of course, that holiday doesn't exist in this world. Actually, there aren't any notable annual holidays on Acheron Island, though from what I've heard, people who work normal jobs in stores and stuff do get a week or so off every three or four months, depending on where they're working.

But that doesn't really apply to me, being an Adventurer and Mercenary gives me a lot of freedom to do things at my own pace, which is great.
