"Wow, what an annoying ability this is," I mused, as I fired out a barrage of destruction blasts, but the Oryctoloid kept teleporting whenever one of my blasts began to close in on him.

He called his Mystic Transcension 'Auto-Teleportation'...from what I can see, there's an intangible barrier surrounding him, and every time something that could hurt him comes into contact with that barrier, he automatically teleports to a safe spot.

And there's no cooldown or delay, he can teleport again immediately after doing so once...I haven't landed a single hit on him after he unleashed his Mystic Transcension, that's quite the impressive and useful defensive power.

I've managed to block him from running away, but my time limit's starting to run out...his Mystic Transcension is consuming his Mana at a pretty rapid rate, but I'll reach the end of my time limit well before he runs out of Mana.
