章 37: A mistake?

Seraphina looked at her phone as it rang. It was Jenna and she wondered why Jenna would be calling her when she knew she would most probably be at the meeting.

"Hey bestie?" Seraphina said,bher voice just above a whisper but there was silence on the other end. "Jenna?"

"Oh my bad." A masculine voice came from the other side of the phone. She could tell if wasn't Cullen and something about this individual made her feel chills.

"W-who are you?" Seraphina asked and Lucian who could hear the slight panic in her tone tried not to look in her direction but was listening to her heartbeat which was racing and her tone.
