Lu Xian did not have to turn towards the source of the voice to know who it was. It just had to be a certain veiled woman who had somehow found her way around everything. 

''This place is guarded by my men. How did you even get inside?" Lu Xian asked, a hint of exasperation in his voice as he turned around to walk away. 

But he had just taken a step when something soft bumped into him from behind. Lu Xian stilled as the woman rubbed her delicate body against his back. 

''I have my ways to find you no matter where you are,'' the woman said, rather flirtatiously. 

Lu Xian stepped around, breaking away from her touch, ''What do you need me for at this moment?" 

''Do I only find you when I have something to ask for from you.'' 

''Yes,'' he scoffed, ''You indeed do that and I prefer it to be like that. Because the day you start looking for me for anything other than work will be the day I squeeze your throat…'' 

''Till I moan your name?"
