As the door opened and closed, Caleb straightened up in his chair, letting out a soft sigh. 

He glanced at the closed door and a hint of amusement flickered on his face as he shook his head, ''Kids these days… are quite the lovers."

He leaned back and closed his eyes, the upturned arch of his lips dying down as a fleeting sadness flickered by his face.

On the way back to Chen Mansion, Daisy sat in the backseat of the car, her brows furrowed as she looked out of the car, at the passing landscapes, lost in her thoughts.
