Concluding the research with Bob on Bloodline, Xavian had returned home.
Then after a measly sandwich and a bath, he was swiftly jogging on his way to Bloodline.
Bloodline was the biggest blood donating industry in the world. It spanned over hundreds of countries and had over a hundred thousand paid blood donors.
No one really knew what was being done with the blood, and it was backed by some powerful, rich organization that even the government did not dare snoop around.
In Vapirus City, the Bloodline had a large white building with a large red gate.
Xavian was currently passing through these gates as he stared in awe.
The interior was truly beautiful, so much that Xavian felt like touching the walls alone was committing sacrilege.
He noticed many workers moving to and fro around the building.
They were all pale skinned and had red eyes, putting on a black lab coat as they went about their own stuff.
He did not mind any of this though, as a stunning pale skinned woman with long black hair and deep red eyes stared in his direction.
"Xavian Anton?"
"Yes ma'am!"
Xavian curtly nodded and showed her the 'CV' that Max had prepared for him.
It contained his blood type, blood group, average heart rate, and a few other pieces of information that he did not understand.
The woman looked at the sheet for a split second, then she sighed and turned.
"Let's hope your blood is swee...I mean good enough!"
That was a very suspicious comment, but Xavian was too busy ogling the building to notice.
He was quickly led to a very weird machine that had sucked off so much blood, that the blonde teenager had felt dizzy and lightheaded.
But all these cleared when he felt three whole thousand Cashnotes fall into his palms.
"Thanks!" He shouted as he ran out of the building despite the blood loss.
For someone growing up in poverty, a thousand Cashnotes was a LOT of money...and he had three!
The red eyed woman looked at Xavian's disappearing figure and shook her head.
Licking something on her finger, she sighed.
"Just sweet enough?, Perfectly right."

Xavian was over the moon!
He had truly won a jackpot, as he was now being paid more than a thousand Cashnotes weekly.
He could buy food, buy clothes, pay the bills, and help his mother a whole lot.
'With this amount of money, we'll never have to go hungry again!'
He thought to himself with glee.
For someone like Max, a few thousand was only pocket change, but for someone like Xavian, it could literally change his life.
It meant better clothes, better food, and a generally better life.
Immediately hitting the shopping mall, Xavian purchased a lot of food, clothes and a few other stuff.
Getting home, his mother's eyes nearly popped out of her head.
"Xavi?!!, What... where...HOW did you get the money!!"
Xavian simply shrugged and replied.
"I got a new job, I guess. But don't worry it's completely safe."
***
Xavian's family was a very odd one.
His mother had owned an orphanage once, and when her husband had left her, she adopted all the kids she took care of and sold the building.
Xavian regarded the ten or so orphans she had taken in as his own siblings, since he himself had once been in such a situation before the Anton family adopted him.
His mother sighed and hugged him.
"I hope so, just make sure what happened last time would never happen again."
Xavian's mother herself was a good, hard working woman.
She worked multiple jobs at the same time and was usually never home, always trying to find ways to make money to feed her kids, which was by itself a full time job as Xavian's father had left her long ago.
In today's society, it was extremely hard to get a job as every aspect of society was now almost completely mechanized.
This caused her to work much more than she was being paid and was also the reason why Xavian had searched for a job himself to support his mother.
Xavian grinned in grim determination.
'I promise mum, I'll give us all a better life', he thought.
