"Why are you doing to me, Selene?" Noah's voice shook as he sat on the sofa "I know you don't feel the same way about me, but why did you accept my proposal only for you to keep going back to him?"

"Noah," I rushed to his side "Honestly, it's not as you think it is. He was dying and the mugwort shot wasn't working. Back when I was still his mate, any intimate act of affection used to help him heal quickly,". 

Noah paused, as he raised his gaze to me "Are you trying to tell me that you would keep this up? That whenever he's weak, you would fuck him?" his eyes flashed with anger. 

"Don't say it like that, Noah," I hung my head miserably "And it's just one time okay? He takes mugwort shots too, so I'm sure he'll be fine. I don't know what happened today but it didn't just work. I promise, Noah. It won't happen again. I want to be with you,".
