章 54: What Would You Do?

Shirley gave Victor a sardonic look, feeling not too comfortable with the fact that Victor was engaging her in conversation.

"Sure, I'll come. I don't see Lady Thalia with you, where is she?" asked Shirley with a curious tilt of her head. 

Then, Shirley turned to Noah, "Is your sister not coming, Darling?" Shirley hugged Noah's arm tighter. 

"There's no way Thalia isn't coming. But, I don't think we need to bother about Thalia's presence," Noah replied with a sweet smile. 

"You're right. Then you'd better go find your fiancé, Your Grace." Shirley spoke back to Victor. 

After that, Shirley immediately pulled Noah's arm to walk away past Victor who was blocking their way. 

Shirley really didn't expect Victor to come to her, she no longer hoped for Victor. 

Especially after Shirley knew that Thalia really wanted to kill her this time. Of course Shirley didn't want herself to end up dead like the real Shirley.
