章 47: Will Something Bad Happen?

Finally, Shirley was told that Noah had come to pick up her and Charlotte. 

As Shirley quickly went to greet Noah, she had to say that Charlotte would be coming with them this time. 

"You look rushed," Noah said when he saw Shirley walking towards him at a fast pace. 

Shirley chuckled at Noah's remark, but he wasn't wrong.

"I have something to say before we go," Shirley replied, then led Noah to her reading room. 

Although confused but Noah still followed Shirley's steps, he was quite curious about what Shirley wanted to tell him. 

What Noah was afraid of was that something bad had happened to Shirley again like before. 

After arriving in the room, Noah pulled Shirley's arm, "Did something bad happen again to you?" Noah said with a serious face. 

Shirley was quite shocked when she heard Noah's question, not expecting him to think that there was something bad in this house.
