In the end, Orion ended up absorbing the dragon, and Merlin couldn't do anything, he just didn't have any relevant reason to stop Orion.
Not to mention the untold reason he was stopping Orion was just his suspicion and that was all. He just can't stop Orion under just a suspicion.
Orion right was now meditating, unlike the other magical creatures, Dragon had a huge amount of magic, and it needed Orion some time to assilimmiate this magic inside him.
Of course, he even stores the corpse of the dragon in his pendant where it will not Weider away.
It took him some time before he was done but as soon as he was done, he was extremely lethargic.
He spent too much magic today and now did not have much energy left.
So, he made a Be line for his room in the Leaky Cauldron.
----
To even Orion's surprise, he slept for one whole day.
"Shit I had to go to Daphne's house to check on her sister," He whined but then he felt it. The power flowing from him. It was strange, not only was it the increased magical power but even the physical power. He feels strong for some reason.
He didn't think too much about it and after eating something, he got out, ready to go to Daphne's place.
But he didn't know where the Greengrass mansion was, he remembered the location of the black mansion thanks to the books but had no idea about Daphne's place.
Thinking about it hard, he decided to do a little trick which which he always wanted to do.
Apparently in the Harry Potter world, the birds know where to deliver the letter, he had no idea how come but he planned to deliver a letter to Daphne by Red and then secretly follow his friend.
[Is that even important, just write to her, asking for her address.] Merlin finally said something. From early morning Merlin was glaring at him like he was a Kree Imposter.
He didn't think too much about it and just focused on looking at Red.
Yesterday... no day before yesterday, he send Red to look after Hermione just if those damn vampires go after her.
Thankfully they didn't go after Hermione and even had to get out of Diagon Alley. Thanks to his exploits in Gringotts, there was an entire raid of the Aurors.
He doesn't know much about what happened as this information is also something he learns from Tom.
He asked for a Daily Prophet later from Tom to find out more about what happened.
Strangely or not, there was no mention of someone stealing from Gringotts.
"Well who cares, there is no way they can find who did it," Orion scoffs.
Although Orion knows that there is a high possibility that they have found out about the crime, they most likely won't tell this to the wizarding public.
At least not until they know who stole the money.
"Yeah like they can find me, the only way they have to do anything in the wizarding world is magic, sucks for them I pretty much eat the thing," Orion just rolled his eyes like he doesn't care at all.
He called for Red and wrote a simple letter for Daphne.
And hand it over to Red. And as his friend flew off, Orion followed behind.
----
It took around 20 to 25 minutes before he found the Greengrass manor.
Suddenly Red appeared inside the manor in front of Daphne who was currently reading today's newspaper.
Everyone including her, was surprised by the sudden attack of Dragon in Gringotts.
Orion just wondered what would happen if they knew what kind of money had been stolen from that bank.
So when suddenly Red appeared out of nowhere, Daphne was startled.
She almost took out her wand but after seeing the Phoenix in front of her, she stopped and sighed.
Knowing that there are only two people in magical Britain who have a Phoenix and both will not hurt her, she relaxed.
And she was pretty used to Red by now so she knew who sent this bird.
Slowly caressing Red, Daphne took the letter from Red and read it.
The only thing written in the letter was, " Come outside,".
Reading this, Daphne blinked and moved towards the house door.
She wasn't sure what to expect, but before she could open the door she remembered she was looking horrible right now, no makeup, no clean dress, nothing.
She ran back.
----
Orion, with a bouquet of vibrant flowers in hand, found himself standing before the elegant Greengrass residence. The air was filled with the sweet scent of blooming gardens as he approached the front door, his anticipation mixed with a touch of nervousness.
Daphne had caught Orion's attention with her wit and charm, it was strange because there was something different about her when compared to someone like Rose or Hermione, Orion was fascinated it that unknown thing and maybe that's why he didn't directly cut all connection with her when he learns that Daphne was being friendly with him just because Nick asks her to be.
The door swung open, revealing a tastefully decorated foyer. Daphne's sister, Astoria, greeted him with a warm smile and ushered him inside.
Apparently, Daphne was not fast enough to reach the door. And her little sister ended up opening the door.
Seeing a younger girl than Daphne with similar features, Orion was sure that this girl was Astoria and immediately sensed her magic, trying to find anything which gave him knowledge about her disease. Astoria Greengrass did look like Daphne but she had a weak frame while her magic was all entangled and messing with her internals.
A blood curse, no doubt.
Orion presented the bouquet to Astoria, expressing his desire to share the beauty of the flowers with Daphne.
"Ah I brought these flowers for your sister, but if I knew that there was another beautiful young lady here then I would have bought more, but still please accept this one," Orion said while applying his real charm and even gave a flower of lavender to Astoria.
Astoria's eyes twinkled, appreciating the thoughtful gesture while there was a blush on her face as well, no doubt Orion's charm worked.
"Hmm thank you," She replied with a weak voice.
She led him to the living room where Daphne was seated, engrossed in a book. Actually, she was acting like that, she was getting ready as quickly as possible before Orion entered the room as soon as Orion enter she just ended up sitting the first place she could find and started to read the book.
Orion noticed the upside-down book but didn't call out Daphne about it. Just smiled with his most charming expression but almost made both little girl's hearts skip a bit.
Daphne looked up, faking surprised and pleased by Orion's unexpected visit. The room filled with the vibrant colours of the flowers as Orion extended the bouquet toward her.
"I hope you are doing good, princess," Orion said with as continuing his usual game of prince and princess game with Daphne.
This unconsciously brought a smile to Daphne's face. Only then did she take a closer look on Orion. He was looking different.
It was hard to pinpoint but he was looking suddenly more mature and powerful. A side effect of absorbing the dragon, making Orion's radiating a different aura and even acting a little different.

There is no official information about Daphne, I was shocked at why such a famous character had no information.
The reason is that there is not much importance given to Daphne in the book or the movies. The only kind of information and content available on her is by fan fiction.
