章 301: Blood Stained Hands

"You understand you won't walk out of here alive if you dare hurt her by any means," Zyair retorted, his heart threatening to jump out of his constricted chest. 

His extremely disturbed eyes did not budge from his scared wife. An understanding passed between them. Silently she blinked at him, the pain constructing a bridge between their hearts. The thought of their unborn baby was at the forefront of their thoughts. 

Zyair's hands were raised so Doran wouldn't try anything stupid. He was capable of doing anything now, even shooting her. 

"Let me go, Doran. If you have ever cared for me, then I request you to set me free," Skyla requested in a small voice while fearfully watching him over her shoulder, trying to find any traces of reason this man might have left.
