章 288: The Footage

Zyair and Lawrence gave their statements regarding the kidnapping case of Skyla. On Zyair's insistence, Doran was named as the prime suspect in the case and an FIR was filed against him. 

No footage from outside the house was salvaged as the people who had attacked seemed to know where all the cameras were. They had shot and brought down all the cameras. 

The only footage available was from the camera Zyair had installed in the living room. Since it was hidden and they hadn't previously been able to get inside their home, the footage was preserved. 

Zyair provided them with access to the footage but deep shadows of dread haunted him at what they were about to unravel in it. 

Earlier he had tried to access the footage but internet services were down in Marica City. And now the contents of what he was about to find, scared him to the point of losing control of his overall equanimous nature. 

He clenched and unclenched his hands.
