Clouds of dread enveloped Zyair as his eyes wandered to the empty spot on his nightstand. His world seemed to crumble all around him. Everything he had worked tirelessly to build could come crashing down if that picture fell into the wrong hands, which he was sure it already had.

His mind reeled to pained memories of his past, so much could surface and come back to torment him. Skyla's warm hands found their way to his face as her disturbed voice brought his focus back to her.
