"What have you created here, young master?" Marcus asked, his voice tinged with a hint of disbelief mixed with curiosity. He was speaking formally because he had started to believe that Valerius was worth ofhis respect.

"This," Valerius began, his voice steady and clear, "is not just water. This is the Elixir of Drowsiness, refined to remove all side effects. It can induce deep, restorative sleep without any of the typical residual grogginess or other adverse effects commonly associated with such potions."

Marcus's eyebrows rose in surprise. The Elixir of Drowsiness was a well-known concoction within the alchemical community, prized for its effectiveness but equally criticized for its sometimes unpredictable side effects which could range from mild disorientation to severe somnolence that lasted far beyond the intended period.
