章 3: Chapter 3: Butlers
Law's POV
After Nakiri Sazaemon left I quickly accepted the system's reward and 5 individuals appeared in front of me and Selene
"Good Day Master, My name is Maine Rhaegal, These are my four subordinates Noire, Blank, Crimson, and Sky," A girl with long Orange hair tied in twin tails said as she and the four other guys bowed on one knee in front of me
The 4 other men can be distinguished easily by their hair colors all of them are wearing black butler suit with a name tag on the right side of the chest, the 4 men are butlers while Maine's title is head butler
"Welcome Maine, Noire, Blank, Crimson, and Sky to the Family, anytime right now a customer might pop out so I'm going to assign your roles immediately," I said to them and all of them nodded
"Selene will be assigned as the receptionist and will man the bar counter as well as the cashier, while the 5 of you will help each other in assisting our customers, taking their orders, and serving their food, is that okay with you guys?" I asked them
"We will follow the arrangements of the Pagoda Master," the 5 new guys said as they bowed and Selene smiled and thumbs up
"Very good, as I saw before our current status is abnormal as our customers before didn't come from this world"
"Our establishment only has 4 rules, No fighting inside the Pagoda, Pay before you leave, Don't disturb the other customers, and stealing is prohibited violators will be banned" As I said that all of them nodded
Then I heard the familiar chime of the bell from the door and a group of 2 entered the room, one of them was wearing a raven black armor with two long swords on his back while the other one was an elegant, snow-white skinned, black-pony tailed beauty wearing a standard adventurer uniform, she had a sword on her waist, why did I know that she is wearing a standard adventurer uniform? It is because I know them
"Welcome to the Heavenly Pagoda please take a seat and try our food we are a newly opened establishment here" Maine was the first one to react and she greeted our customers
The black-haired girl quickly moved to cover the armored guy and she was ready to draw her sword but the man in the armor quickly stopped him
"Calm down Nabe, remember why we here," He said as he walked towards a table for two and quickly sat down
Ains POV
While me and Nabe am doing some missions to earn some money we discover a door in the middle of nowhere, I know that it's wrong for me to quickly enter this kind of thing but my instinct is telling me that I should go and open this door
"Naberal get ready, we're going to enter this door, after we enter don't do anything stupid," I said to her and she nodded
After I opened and entered a spacious restaurant appeared in front of us, there we saw 7 individuals, 5 of them were wearing a butler suit, one of them was wearing a chef uniform while the other one was wearing a full black office suit and she had a floating halo on top of her head
When I saw her my instinct quickly told me to never cross her the same feeling I felt from looking at the chef and the female butler
"Welcome to the Heavenly Pagoda please take a seat and try our food we are a newly opened establishment here" The butler girl quickly approached us like a professional butler, Nabe on the other hand shielded me and prepared to attack but fortunately I stopped her
After guiding us to the table the girl named Maine gave us two menus and I quickly opened them to take a look, when I saw the first things on the menu I was quite shocked and when I saw the other things written on the menu I was dumbfounded for a while
"Uhm excuse me miss but I want to ask who owns this establishment?" I asked hoping that the guy I saw before came from the world same as mine
"Our establishment is owned by our master Law Skywalker" she answered and I just nodded to her
"For starters, I want to order this sizzling dragon Heart together with a glass of cola, how about you Nabe?" I asked her
"I want this 8 colored Star pudding" She answered and after the girl wrote our order on a piece of paper she quickly left and headed to the back of the bar where the chef went after a few minutes our orders were placed on our table
I applied illusion magic on my face and took off my helm then I looked at the food, it looked like a steak with perfect marbling even the way this food was cooked was to the extremes, as for the smell it was appetizing, I looked at Nabe on the other hand and she is already drooling while looking at her food
"Itadakimasu" I intentionally said, but sadly no one reacted at all my confidence in my first hunch became low, so I quickly ate the food but as it entered my mouth the flavor of the food just exploded
"It's too delicious! The food at the nazarick can't be compared to this" I said out loud and without realizing it I had already eaten half of the food, putting my worries at the back of my head I started to devour the food order some more after I finished eating it, in the end, both I and Nabe ate 6 plates of the same thing that we ordered
When I was about to pay I realized something I didn't think before, does this restaurant accept gold coins from Yggdrasil?
"You can pay in any currency that you want sir," The girl at the bar counter said
"That's good, how much is our bill?" I asked her
"4,400,345 yen in total," she said and I was expecting more after all the taste of the food was too heavenly, after paying the bill I looked at the back of the bar
"Can I talk to the master?" I asked and the girl nodded, after a while a young handsome man with blonde hair came out of the back and he smiled at me as if he knew me very well
"What can I help you sir? Do you find our service and food to your liking?" He asked
"The service and the food are top notched I've never eaten something that delicious before in my entire life," I said to him honestly
"Thank you for your compliment, so what do you want to talk how about we take a seat there," he said as he pointed to a table for 4 and I just nodded
Law's POV
"I can talk to you right now cause there are no customers yet, what do you want to know?" I asked him quickly as we took a seat and I could see his companion Naberal getting ready to attack
"Our establishment has four rules, No fighting inside the Pagoda, Pay before you leave, Don't disturb the other customers, and stealing is prohibited violators will be banned from the store," I said to him and he quickly motioned her to calm down, and seat
After Naberal took a seat Ains looked at me and asked a question
"Do you know us?"
"I know you guys, but you do not know me"
"Are we the same?"
"Yes, we were both isekaid" I answered him and he slapped the table
"I fucking knew it so are you a player too?" Ains asked excitedly
"Unfortunately I'm not, the two of you are currently inside my store and my store can be found in the world of Pokemon," I said to him
"So those isekai things from the novels I read online are real? This is shocking" Ains said and I laughed at him
"As if you have the right to say that you transmigrated at a game you played before right" After saying that he looked at me surprised
"How do you know that?" Ains asked
"You know the theory about the multiverse right? I hate to say this but I read you guys from a book, hell, I even watched your anime" I said to him, and for a while, he just sat there and was bathed in green light
After a few minutes, he started to move again and he looked at me
"The theory of multiverse suggests that everything is real right? So my current world is my reality?" He asked me
"Yes so try to live your life to the fullest," I said to him
"You're right, thank you for telling me this you can call me Ains," he said as he took out his arm for a handshake
"You can call me Law, if you want to taste some heavenly dishes then just enter the door during the day and I will serve you anything that you want as long as you can pay for it," I said to him as I shook his hand
"Don't worry if what I'm thinking right now is right then there is a high chance that I will meet those characters here" He said
"Well you came from the far future, after all, if you watched those classics you will meet them here," I said to him as we both laughed
"I'll command my men to set a base near your door is that okay to you?" Ains asked as the door opened up and 4 customers entered the room
"I see no issues about that, well then I will leave for now as there are new customers, have a good day Ains," I said as I stood up and walked back to my kitchen, Ains and Naberal on the other hand left the Restaurant too
"Armors? And swords? Are they doing cosplay?" A muscular man said while looking at Ains and Naberal
"Master, as I said before I returned and this time I brought my junior and my granddaughters here," Sanzaemon said while smiling
