Passed through the golden Secret Realm archway, a white jade stone-paved road appeared before my eyes.
The road was wide enough for two or three carriages to travel side by side, and every few dozen meters, there stood an archway, reminiscent of a grand gate. On either side were antique buildings two to three stories high, from which many large red lanterns hung, swaying with the long tassels in the breeze, presenting a scene of festivity.
After walking roughly the distance of three archways, I arrived at a vast square. Surrounding it were many streets and alleys like those I had come through, and in the distance, there rose a broad flight of stone steps that stretched straight up to the limit of my vision, where, amidst swirling clouds and mist, the imposing ancient hall with its bronze doors stood closed.
