Alpha Natalie's POV

"I guess I'm fine now." I snort, as I pull away from his warmth.

He doesn't object, as he lets me have it my way. Lately, he seems to just let things be and to be honest, I kinda like it, especially if it's going my way. 

"Are you sure?" He looks at me keenly, even though he has no plans of changing my mind or forcing me to take his.

"Not sure, but I'll be fine, I guess." I beat about the issue at hand.

"Look, you don't have to push yourself to the wall for this course. The most important thing is that I know the truth now and I can give my late mama justice. I don't need to string you along..."

"Hendrix, I thought we've gotten way past this issue?" I look at him disappointed. "Can we not do this anymore?" I plead.

"You're right, I'm sorry for bringing this up, I promise not to from now henceforth." He swears subtly.
