The next day;

Today I was feeling like myself. The illness was completely gone and that meant I didn't have to be doted on by anyone. Karla and I arrived at school ten minutes before the bell rang.

"Thanks Karla, I have to go bye!" I dashed out of her new jeep car which was actually the same model as mine. You'd be wondering, why ain't I using my own car. Well, I do use it but like twice a week. I was in a hurry. The first class I had, I needed to submit a very important project. The session was coming to an end soon and that meant multiple submissions of projects.

"Excuse me. Out of my way." I squeezed myself through hundreds of students, trying to get to chemistry class. When I got to my class, I saw Kat seated at her usual seat.

"Hey Kat."

"Emily, you almost missed the deadline!" 

"I know! I ran all the way from the parking lot. At least I made it."

"Yeah." She said while staring at me strangely. I curled an eyebrow at her.
