Robert and his close warriors sat around a fire, in their camp. They were licking their wounds, and nursing their egos. They had just returned from their first attack on Ethan and his pack, and they had failed miserably, having underestimated Ethan's strength and Ariana's powers. They had lost many of their pack members, and barely escaped with their lives. They were angry, ashamed, and confused.

However, they couldn't deny the curiosity that swirled their thoughts. They wanted to know more about Ariana, the treacherous girl who had turned the tide of the battle. The girl who could control the elements, and use them as weapons. The girl who had saved Ethan, and caused their defeat.

They started to talk about her, casually at first, then more intensely.

"What was that, for real? Where did she come from? How did she get those powers?" One of them asked.
