章 25: CupCake Safe House and Col. Jabari's Headache

#CupCakes back to their base

The CupCakes came back from Darussufi to their base with a very peculiar experience. Although none of them brought it up, the incident in the village was not at all normal. It did not matter how much they tried to convince themselves; they did not know what they saw. In the back of their minds, they were very sure it was a ghostly phenomenon.

They did not exfiltrate through the same area where they entered the jungle; they took a different path through the jungle and reached another point a few days later.

The rain was not coming down as hard as it had been. The village they reached was on the other side of the Sunsunhan River. They crossed the river in inflatable boats, then crossed the jungle, and then reached the village. It was about a few hundred kilometers away from Darussufi and right outside of Akunomori.
