章 28: Chapter 28 – The Third Princess
In front of the mansion, I could see Camila worried about something circling the door. Noticing me, she immediately lunged at me.
- My lord! We have a problem!
Camila looked very alarmed about something. Everything should be fine and the guards didn't tell me anything.
- Calm down and explain yourself.
I shook Camila, who pulled herself together and began her explanation. It turns out that after the execution a carriage arrived at the mansion. Camilla welcomed the visitor because the carriage was very elegant and bore the symbol of the royal family.
The carriage entered the property as Camila gave it the go-ahead. When the doors of the carriage opened, the third princess of this kingdom came out.
Hearing that the third princess was in the mansion, multiple thoughts came to my head.
Alejandra Von Diamond, the third princess of the kingdom. She was known for her dazzling beauty. Rumor had it that her hair was snow-white, her gaze was cold, and her body was so seductive that a man would be stunned to see her. Thanks to that cold attitude and beautiful body, she was nicknamed the gem of the kingdom.
It is said that this princess was indeed fit to inherit the throne. She was not lacking in charm or wisdom in dealing with any problem. Sadly, this kingdom was a monarchy where all power rested with the king. The laws of the kingdom also stipulate that the heir must be a man.
A smile slowly crept across my face. If the kingdom didn't want this gem, then I'll add it to my collection and make it shine a lot brighter than before. This was also in line with my current plans.

The restless Camila continued to bother me until she managed to get me out of my thoughts. This made me very angry and wanted to punish her for interrupting her master. However, I held back. It would not be polite to keep the princess waiting.

Domenica and Olivia quickly wiped me off with a rag and a bucket of water. This further highlighted my need to craft a functional shower and plumbing. In this world, baths were only used to relieve themselves. However, there was no water and the debris was falling into a reservoir.
In the case of the commoners, they had public latrines that were a source of infection and disease. Also, the bad smell was nauseating. I've been wanting to take a proper shower for days. After the tax collection I will finally be able to do it.
The girls started drying me and dressing me. During the process, I couldn't help but cast glances at her attributes that stood out in the maid's uniform. It's only been two days since I was reborn and I already have a harem of maids. This was a dream for every man in the world.
I left the room and arrived in front of the study. When I opened the door, I saw a sight that I will never forget. In front of me was Princess Alejandra sitting on the curb of the window as the wind shook her platinum white hair. Her blue eyes shone like two sapphires as she watched the sun set in the distance. Her tender lips were a little part, making me want to pounce on her and kiss her passionately.
My eyes could not be taken away from her beautiful face. I could only describe it as divine.
- Oh. Excuse my manners. ~
Her voice was delicate and refined, gripping me to tingle. Unbeknownst to me, my fangs grew inside my mouth. I wanted to taste her blood, with how beautiful she was I didn't have doubt that her blood would be heavenly.
The princess came down from the windowsill.
- Don't worry princess. Take your time to appreciate the sunset. I must say that the view is magnificent from this office.
Even though I was impressed by her, I wasn't going to let it show on my face.
- No need. I'm here for important matters after all. ~
The princess sat down on one of the pieces of furniture and took the cup of tea that was on the table.
- I must say that for a marquis's house it has very few maids. ~
The princess had made a comment that was intended to make a silent threat to me.
- We recently went through an altercation with the servants. So, we are reevaluating their qualifications to serve in the mansion. This is a minor matter. However, you have nothing to worry about. I will assign one of my personal handmaids to help you with whatever you need.
- I appreciate your care, but it's not necessary. I brought my personal maids. What I still don't understand is why you haven't greeted me properly. ~
A war of words had begun between us. Nobles regardless of rank were required to kneel as a sign of servitude and politeness when in the presence of a noble. However, my family was exempt from those duties.
