After a few moments, she spoke again, her voice softer than before.
"It is fortunate, indeed, that you found the time to visit my humble manor. I never thought I'd have the opportunity to host the entire imperial family like this, even if I offered my manor for such use..."
She said with a wry smile, a hint of amusement coloring her tone.
Isabelle suppressed an urge to scowl at her.
That was just petty.
It wasn't like Jazara had done anything against her at all.
Except be really pretty.
And...!
And also Alexander didn't trust her!
And Snowball...
Probably...
Wouldn't like her!
She hadn't checked.
So I was rereading my last chapter and it seems right at the end some of my sleeping insanity slipped in. Instead of saying "She didn't like that woman" it said "She didn't like those units". You don't know how much of a struggle it is when I'm falling asleep writing...the insane things that I write and have to catch myself and erase are just...somehow I manage to write words instead of keysmashing, but it's usually just whatever I'm starting to dream about. THE SUFFERING IS REAL. Now I need to go back and check my recent chapters for any other rogue phrases. (I've been painfully tired for a week. sob.)
