Seeing this, the guard was about to step forward to disperse the crowd.
"Hold your tongues!"
Elder Witt berated in a low voice. He motioned to stop the guards from intruding on William Cole. At the same time, he barked, "Who dares to touch William Cole? Do you wish to die?"
"What are you all thinking? Right now, only William Cole can save Mrs. Cole," he said.
"Elder Witt, do you really believe that William Cole can save my mother? His blood can cure diseases? That's ridiculous!" Kirk Cole's eyelids twitched. He quickly rushed forward.
"Kirk Cole, don't you think I don't know what you are thinking?" Elder Witt's face hardened as he shot Kirk a cold glance.
At his gaze, Kirk Cole retreated a step or two subconsciously.
He gave an awkward laugh, "Elder Witt, what are you talking about?"
"Heh, heh."
Elder Witt sneered relentlessly, showing no mercy to Kirk Cole, "There are some things that just because I don't voice them out, it doesn't mean I'm not aware."
