Early in the morning, William started his inpatient consultations. After giving multiple examinations and treatments the day before, the green glow in his dragon-shaped jade pendant was replenished.
Just as he finished seeing a few patients, a multi-functional medical vehicle stopped at the entrance of Thirteen Hall. A group of people then carried a stretcher out from it. On top of the stretcher was Patient No. 2 whom William had diagnosed at the Chinese Medicine Association yesterday.
Upon seeing William, the middle-aged man looked thrilled, "Dr. Cole, do you remember me?
I was one of your patients yesterday. You told me I had heart and lung failure and wouldn't survive another half a year."
"Furthermore, you mentioned that if I used silver needles to dredge my meridians and connect my internal organs, using qi for nourishment, I could live another ten or twenty years, is that true?"
