Unfortunately, Kiin had recently been cleared of suspicion regarding the identity of the Fifteenth Hawkling, so Shye took the time to explain why they could only attempt to rescue Wendy after three months.

"I asked the old man for help. However, this was the only solution he could offer. He also wouldn't give me the location of the bastard's headquarters where Wendy could be. He said that in three months, they would perform a probing attack at the city where the headquarters is hidden. We could then use the attack as a diversion to retrieve Wendy. We could only wait."

After hearing Shye's explanation, Kiin said no more.

However, unbeknownst to the others, a sinister plan was brewing in his mind.
