章 17: Tomato and Eggs
'Finnally he fell asleep' I thought. It was already noon..and my stomach was grumbling loudly.
I wanted to eat something but this child just dosen't fall asleep. Now that he is asleep, I think I can start to cook something for me.
I happily skipped towards the kitchen. 'But the question is what should I make...?'
I was silent for a while... Thinking about what should I make..
Suddenly a idea came to my mind. I nodded to myself. 'perfect!' I thought and started to make preparations. It's a easy dish that anyone can make.
First I cutted some tomatos and removed tomato stems.
I also chopped some green onions because green onion is life!
I started to crack three eggs.After throwing the cracked the eggs into a medium sized bowl and I seasoned it with salt and pepper. Beated and stirred it for a whole minute until it was smooth.
I added a spoon of oil in a wok over medium-high heat. Added the eggs and let them cook, stirring lightly until just set but still runny.
Pour the eggs back into the bowl, and wiped the the pan. Looking at golden scrambled eggs, I couldn't help but taste a little.
I shook my head at my behaviour, I can be greedy sometimes...
I added another tablespoon of oil into the wok. Add garlic and chopped green onions and cook until fragrant, about 15 seconds.
Soon a fragrance came out of the stove, making me even more hungry.
I hurriedly added tomatoes, sugar, and water, and cook until the tomatoes have softened, about 1-2 minutes.
I also wanted to add Oyster sauce but thier is none in this town. It's a little weird counsidiring the town is near the sea yet don't know about Oyster sauce.
I poured the cooked eggs into the Wok and stirred untill they combined.
Added some salt for taste and finish with adding sesame oil on top of it. Garnish the whole thing with green onions and finnally..! I can eat it.
It looked beautiful red and golden with a little green on the top because of green onions. It had arousing scent.
It looked very attractive. I wanted to eat it directly but I couldn't.
As a Asian, it is necessary to have rice with almost everything.
'Thier must be some rice left in the pot' I thought and went near rice pot. I opened the lid and yes, thier is some rice left.
I hurriedly scouped some rice in a bowl and added tamato scrambled. It looked really very beautiful.
I didn't wanted to ruin such a masterpiece but I can't control my hunger. So I had to stab it with chopsticks and dive into it.
After taking a bite, it tasted sweet and salty. Which only made me carve it more.
I might look like a thief caughted stealing good because of the way I was sitting and eating. As I was eating it, I heard a voice from my behind. I hurriedly turned back. I only saw a cute fat boy standing there.
He wasn't fat too be exact, it's just he is a little bit more healthy than children around his age.
He pitifully looked at the bowl at my hand. I couldn't help but wanted to give him my own bowl. But that won't be appropriate.

Wang Lin's eyes fluttered. He looked around unknown room.
He was about to cry but he suddenly remembered that his mother promised to bring him sweets, when she will return. His mother never lies with him.
He have to be a good boy. Because he already knows what will happen if he ruined Su Yun's peace.
I shuddered thinking about that evil lady. Although it didn't pain as much as when he was just hit, there was still some places where it hurts.
A fragrant scent hitted my nose. I couldn't help but sniff a little. I followed the scent. Only to be ended up at the entrance of the kitchen.
I couldn't help but sign at this evil woman's way of eating.
Just as I looked up, our eyes met. I tried my best to portray a cute baby face. That's the only way to get what I want.
Thankfully for him his little trick worked on Su Yun. His fake smile turned real when he saw Su Yun filling a bowl with food for him.
He hurriedly went near her and holded on her clothes with his one tiny palm.
Only to make a mentaly 23 year old woman to bite her lips. If not, she might end up cuuing on his cute behaviour.
After Su Yun filled the she looked at Wang Lin and asked "You want this?" Wang Lin nodded and stretched out his hands. He wanted the bowl.
Su Yun crouched but kept holding the bowl high. "Try to get it yourself." Said her. She had a evil smile on her face.
It sent chills in Wang Lin's spine.
It wasn't that She liked to bully children but Wang Lin was naugthy child, she wanted to teach him a lesson for his indecent behaviour.
I tried to reach the bowl by jumping but unfortunately I able to reach it. 'Defeating this evil lady is so hard!' I thought and tried again.
But even after trying multiple times, he failed. He couldn't help but looked depressed. He confidence level be dropped out of sudden.
Su Yun couldn't help but be amused at this cheeky little kid. Who made her suffer in the morning. She finnally got revenge.
She finnally gave the bowl to Wang Lin but he didn't expected it and turned his head. She signed and tried again but he still refuses to eat it.
She finnally had enough of it and with a little force, she made Wang Lin taste it.
His eyes widened. It's the first time he eaten something like that.
It's not that he didn't have it before, afterall he is the pampered person in the house but non of them was this delicous.
He hurriedly grabbed the rice bowl in Su Yun's hand and ran away.
She simply ignored him and started to eat her own food. Just as the food bowl was finished, there was a knock on the door. She went to open the door.
Looking at Ji Nian and Wang Lin's blurry figure....She signed while thinking 'Finnaly that little demon left this house.'

"See, I told you everything. Now go to sleep" said Su Yun while rapping herself in the blankket.
I nodded and turned around, I couldn't help but get a little discouraged in my heart....
'....She dosen't seem to like children'
