章 22: BICKERING

"Thank you for helping us Mr. Hutton" The Mayor of the Cornerstone city said in a grateful tone as Hutton helped him and his two sons up from the ground.

Right now, lifeless bodies could be seen everywhere on the first floor Hutton and the others are in.

"You don't have to thank me Mayor. I was just doing my duty against evil in my country" Hutton said with a righteous look on his face. But no one knew his thoughts were slightly different from what he just said.

'Now I have a way to expand my restaurant faster'

"You don't have to call me Mayor all the time. You can just call me Powell" The Mayor which apparently is named Powell said in a slight chuckle.

"Oh, then if you don't mind Mr. Powell" Hutton said as he slowly took Powell and his two sons away from the abandoned building.
