simply a fantastic cote fanfic. no doubt about it. I haven't even watched hyouka since back in 2015s it didn't interested me but I love oreki after seeing the adaptation of the Mc in this setting. I love his calm, intelligence, mostly apathetic and sometime with the harem rizz, he is genuinely such a great Mc to follow. tho the chapter count may be in 100s but we only barely passed the first exam, so for some people it maybe slow but the story is amazing. Firstly I kinda didn't like the system usage since it's kinda pointless for cote setting to have a system but the skills he get from it are not omnipotent level things so it's still fun. as for harem, there is no official one but there are snip bits that kei will be his gf, and maybe the dreams which Mc has is the premonition of his harem but can't say for certain, if the dreams are something to go by then suzune, kushida and honami also may join. there is also another person who is giving Mc 1mil point every month anonymously but I think that person is kiryuin so she most likely also may join. When I started the fanfic I didn't expected that class A start could be this much fun to read through and I am glad I gave this one a try. overall I highly recommend this one.

Great fanfic and great translation overall.The characters are well written with the interactions and intrigues being fun to read, although I'll be honest I haven't actually seen COTE which this fanfic is based off of so I cant say whether it is following canon closely or not at all but I can say that what is written here is ell done and worth the time to read.Which brings up another point; although the update times are reasonable short the chapters are also short leaving us wanting for more... well nothing new there.As for world background... nothing much to say either way, it's based in a closed off highschool so there isn't much to explore outside of it and the exploration of the school itself is adequate enough thus far.Also for people who care whether a novel has romance and/or harems, so far there has been plenty of girls showing interet in the mc whether that be genuine interest or just because they have a more open personality but there is no direct romance as of now. Going by the mc personality so far it's less likely for there to be romance but we shall see how his teenage hormones hold up to the attacks from all sides.

A good fanfic and a good translation, some translation need fixings, but it still readable compared to MTL and some direct translation. The idea itself is good, having genius like Oreki Houtarou in ANHS and giving him system that give him superpower, it's quite interesting.
