"Wait." Lydia firmly put her words, no hesitance in her tone neither in her eyes as she completed her words, "I am not coming back, not at all." 

"Even if that's an order?" Ethan turned around quitting the thought of leaving just yet since if he can't set things right, he might not have a calm conversation with someone else, his mind was going to be occupied by her thoughts throughout all day just like it has been till now. His hand moved out of his pocket and eyes slightly looked down toward his coat and then at her thin body shivering a little in the cold. He again started to move closer. 

Not knowing his intentions for getting close, Lydia swallowed but she stood firm and silent since she didn't want him to see her cowering back out of fear. "I won't even if it is an order. What can you do? You aren't even my employer anymore neither I work for Mrs. Terrie, there is no legal contract anymore, so there's nothing you can do."
