However, Tripiṭaka quickly realized that since the Destroyer had appeared here, he had saved himself a lot of trouble, and he could now capture the Destroyer without letting the High Priest take the credit. Moreover, the Destroyer had just emerged from the cave, and there must be a connection between him and the strong electromagnetic signal detected earlier, which also related to the secret of some key items. So, even though he couldn't obtain the key items now, he could still get clues about them from the Destroyer.
After grasping the crucial issue, Tripiṭaka didn't immediately attack the Destroyer but laughed loudly instead, "Destroyer, you can't escape."
