The woman, seeing that Amanda had taken the bait, finally reined in her smile and said earnestly, "It doesn't matter what I know, what matters is whether you want to know or not."
"You think I won't investigate?"
"Heh," she scoffed, "with your current ability, trying to investigate that kind of national secret, you might as well not waste your energy."
National secret?
Amanda's body tensed, and she held her breath slightly.
She didn't understand whether this woman was telling the truth or lies, but without a doubt, every word she said was baiting her.
