Song Xi glanced at Duan Lan, his expression remaining unchanged. However, a sense of guard had started to form in his heart. He simply picked up Ah Guai without saying anything else and said, "Let's go."
Ah Guai, hugging his neck, blinked and asked, "Brother Xi, is he a good person?"
Song Xi pursed his lips: "I don't know."
Ah Guai tilted his head, "Then I'll ask mom later."
As their figures disappeared around the corner of the corridor, Duan Lan finally withdrew his gaze and turned to the servant guiding him, "Who is that boy?"
The servant chuckled, "That's the young master from the Wen family in our town. Sir, you might not recognize him. As our families are closely connected, the young master often studies here in the royal mansion with our princess and her cousins."
Duan Lan looked thoughtfully in that direction, but said nothing further. He nodded and simply moved on.
