Wang Tuhu began to cry, a manly butcher to cry such tears, surely would draw mockery, yet no one in the crowd laughed at him. Some soft-hearted women even shed tears in sympathy.
Wang Tuhu cried as he kneeled on the ground. He also urged Kankan to kneel, and together they knocked their heads three times on the ground before Bai Ruozhu.
Bai Ruozhu quickly stood up from the diagnosis table, rushed over to help them up and sternly said, "I simply lent a helping hand, don't kneel before me. Otherwise, it would be seen as cutting my life short, and my master would blame me."
Upon hearing this, Wang Tuhu and Kankan painstakingly got up. Both of them had been sobbing so hard, their expressions filled with gratitude when they looked at Bai Ruozhu.
Bai Ruozhu was touched, though she was also feeling a headache. She rubbed her temples and said, "Don't have the child cry anymore. His body is weak right now – what if he passes out from crying too much?"
