章 448: The Last Deal

Carmen seethed in his seat. How he wanted to burn the room and he would have. If he was not afraid of fire now.

"You have told me that you would convince Eve to help me. Are you even trying?" Harold bellowed as he glared at his aide. The man wanted to shout too. But Elene had not taken the position of marques from this man.

And a prince was not likely to claim it anymore. 

"It is hard to meet the lady these days. And it would be even hard to convince her to help you after her husband was imprisoned by your statement." the aide sighed just thinking about it.

Did Harold take Eve as a fool even when both sisters had insulted him recently. Did he not learn his lesson at all?

"Ha! Then tell her if she would help me, I will take my charges back from her husband's case." Harold added after a pause surprising the aide.

But the aide did not confirm back. What if the master changes his decision at once?
