章 425: Changing Colors

The Count's room in the royal palace,

Harold waited for the night to fall before going to meet the count. But when he reached there, he was surprised to see that the room was far better than the one he was living in. The place was full of luxury.

It was not hard to find the lord Downshire resting in the room. There were two maids serving him at once. And they both belong to the royal palace.

When he noticed it was Harold, he did not stand up to greet him like before. There was a look of arrogance on his face.

"My lord, what brings you here." he whispered with a smile on his face but his expressions were not sincere at all.

Harold ignored it. He was expecting everyone to treat him like a joke after he was burnt. It was his luck that he was still able to walk. But if there was any way to heal himself, he was going to get it, use it and then take his revenge.

So, he gulped his self respect and took a seat even when he was not offered one.
