Eve opened the door when Ian did not enter the room in half an hour. There was no one outside. Her eyes slowly started to dim and her body swayed slowly. Her rage had given her strength and for the first time she had not forgotten it. She did not faint and erased that part of her memory.
She looked at her hands with disbelief when there was no sign of burning. How could it even be? She remembered her body was burning, her fingers were burning and Harold caught that fire. But failed to explain how the fire started.
One moment she wanted Harold to kill and the next moment, her hands started burning. She slowly continued to walk as she knew the room would soon be surrounded by guests hearing the screams of Harold.
