chapter 6 : Departure
Drake eventually found the building and entered it, killed the Z's (zombies) hanging around without any problem and searched the rooms to find the fat corpse of the bus driver being eaten by three Z's.
Drake quickly killed them and also stabbed his sword into the dead driver's head .
Without delay, he then began searching the body for a set of three keys.
As he was about to leave the building he saw some zombies in front of a door that they were hitting, he walked towards them and killed all of the Z's in front of this door.
Once the Z's were wiped out, he tried to open the seemingly locked door and with a slight effort, he destroyed the lock and opened the door to see a total of 5 people inside including 4 men and a woman.
Frightened but at the same time relieved that it wasn't a zombie, one of the fairly well dressed men came forward wanting to shake Drake's hand. Before he could speak and introduce himself, Drake calmly said
"If you want to live, follow me, but if you want to die, then stay! »
He turned to walk quietly towards the exit and then the group hurriedly followed him.
As soon as they saw the cut-up Z corpses, they looked at the person walking in front of them in shock. "How can someone be so fierce with such dangerous monstres ?! Since when do we have such a guy at this university?! " they asked about him but he ignored them.
Very quickly, after minutes of walking, they finally arrived at the supermarket where Yue Zhong was waiting for Drake with the others. Drake returned with the group and Yue came to him.
He handed her the keys and said "I found these people over there, You can be their leader so talk to them."
The guy from the new group who unsuccessfully wanted to talk to Drake earlier came in front of Yue Zhong and shook his hand saying "you're the leader of this group?! I'm Zhao Zhen and it's nice to meet you! How should I address you?!"
Yue: I'm Yue Zhong, if you want to be part of this group you're going to have to work for your pittance! And this is valid for everyone (He raised his voice so that everyone would listen).
Zhen frowned and looked at his group members before nodding at Yue Zhong, he was an intellectual and a smart man so he quickly agreed but suddenly Drake asked if they were ready to fight against the Z and evolve to participate in the common effort of the group.
Listening to Drake, Zhao Zhen hesitated before saying "I'm really sorry but we can't fight, these creatures are too scary and we are intellectuals, not soldiers."
Drake: Yue these people and girls if they can't fight won't be of any use, we can't afford to drag around useless and unwilling people, it will be the loss of the group, the world is not no longer the same and we must adapt or disappear.
Cai Xiao listened to him and snorted just like the other girls who were lazy and had no will to fight. Zhao Zhen looked at Drake's gray eyes and tanned skin and knew he was a stranger.
He said smugly
"And you think that a foreigner, a black person is able to say who has the right to belong to a Chinese group or not in China?! First take off that hood and breathing mask so we can see who you are!
Yue Zhong wanted to intervene but Drake signaled him not to. He removed his hood and mask showing his braided gray hair, gray eyes, cherry pink lips, and light brown skin. He was handsome, very handsome and the others finally recognized him .
Zhao Zhen: See ?! A dirty foreigner wants to order the Chinese what to do. He wants to abandon Chinese people simply because they don't have the ability to fight. (looking at Yue)
Do you want to abandon these girls just because they don't want to kill those who were once human, friends?! He wants it because not being part of our people, he doesn't care.
At these words, everyone except Yue and Qing Wu began to think about this idea of dying because a dark skin stranger could decide who would be able to live or be abandoned.
Drake is an outsider Although he is handsome and extremely strong, he is still an outsider.
He looked at Yue who was thinking so he slowly shook his head but he quickly understood one detail, it's still the beginning of the apocalypse and Yue doesn't yet know to what extent patriotism will no longer be of any use. Only strength and loyalty are required but he didn't know that yet.
Drake: Alright everyone, I'll make this easy for you quickly ! Yue you will take care of your group and its well-being while I will take care of my own well-being. We will have our separate resources and we'll travel together, if one of the two parts is in an emergency situation, the other group will be free to help or not. Is it okay for you ?!
Yue just nodded and sighed, he wanted to take Drake's part but he couldn't abandon these girls, they are from his homeland and he is a stranger.
Qing Wu also wanted to say something but she looked at Chen Yao who just shook his head.
While Zhao Zhen smiled as if he had won a victory over a giant, he took on a smug look as he declared, "Now that this little problem is taken care of, I propose that- (Yue cut him off)"
Yue: You don't suggest anything and You just do what you're asked to do. Now that we are better organized, things need to be clear. For the distribution of resources, it will be the fighters who will have the largest share, the rest will help with logistics and maintenance. Does anyone have anything to say?!
No one spoke or contradicted Yue because he was stronger. Drake started searching the supermarket, went to get a fairly sturdy black backpack and put a few things inside. He needed something to fool people, saying he had an inventory was going to attract unnecessary attention.
Yue went with Chen Yao who knew how to drive to get the school bus and Drake went to get his own vehicle, he returned with his black Harley Davidson motorcycle and parked it in front of the supermarket.
People who saw him started criticizing his vehicle,
"What a stupid choice! We'll see if this bike can protect you from the zombies once you're outside."
Zhang Xuan said in a whisper to the laughter of the other girls.
Yue returned with the school bus and Chen Yao behind the wheel. He asked the others to load the food onto the bus , Zhao Zhen and his group hesitated but eventually started working. Drake was waiting smoking a cigarette with a small bottle of beer in his hand.
While the supplies were being loaded, the engine of the bus was not stopped as they had to leave at any time.
In a room of the female dormitories, a group of girls were sitting there, once they heard the sound of the engine they knew it was people leaving.
One of them was looking and noticed someone she knew, it was Yue Zhong, she shouted at him and when he saw her he took White Bones and went to get the girls, he didn't fear much because Drake this monster had killed all the Z's in the building.
Once back with the group of girls, it was time to leave. Chen Yao started the vehicle with their group inside towards his apartment on Garden Street and Drake followed them on his motorcycle.
Once on the road, while driving the group was amazed to see the number of Zs in the streets and who were attracted by the sound of their engines.
The people in the group looked at the back of Drake to see how this guy was going to take care of the many Zs without the protection of a car but with a motorcycle.
To their astonishment, they saw Drake riding quietly with headphones in his ears playing music while his black sword was spinning at high speed around him cutting up zombies, they saw some survival coins, some skill books and white chests under Drake's telekinesis leave the ground to enter his backpack connected to his inventory.
When they finally arrived at their destination, Yue and Qing Wu got out of the vehicle to secure the way of the building where Chen Yao's apartment was and once finished, Yue opened the apartment and ordered the others to start loading the supplies into the apartment but half were to stay on the bus in case they had to leave in a hurry.
Drake parked and took the apartment next door to theirs, he killed four Z's inside then he closed the door behind him and he took a better look at the house!
After confirming that there was no one left inside, he used his telekinesis to quickly clean the apartment and sat down on the couch. He looked at his Status:

Drake since last time killed exactly 413 Zs and the rewards were plentiful.
He increased [vitality:467],[spirit:397] and [Stamina:477],he then felt the powerful wave of energy within him and for a while he was paralyzed under this huge amount of energy while dirt was coming out of the pores of his skin .
After a while he could move again but hampered by the thick dirt on him. He tried to feel his physical condition and knew instinctively that he had become invulnerable to the Z virus, his bones were extremely strong, more than steel, his muscles were terribly strong and his senses sharper, really too sharp but he managed to control them after a few minutes!
Drake got up and went to take a shower, he took out some soap and essential and scented oils from his inventory for his comfort! When Drake came out of his bath, he was unrecognizable.
His skin while maintaining his complexion became much smoother and clearer, his hair was shinier, his teeth were white and shiny, his eyes became even clearer and his muscles much more defined.
He took some clothes from his inventory including a leather jacket similar to the previous one and a long light hooded sleeve underneath, black jeans pants and a black and white shoe underneath.
He took out his phone and dialed his parents' number, it was a very advanced smartphone with a satellite network and since it was still the first day of apocalypse then he knew that the network like electricity was still getting through.
