"So you gave the teen the diluted potion I worked hard for?" the creature said.

"Mm, because I told him it was a food supplement, he might continue adding it to the foods served to me and Miss Sonia. He might even give it to Kai."

"That weird fellow?" the creature said before it paid attention to Sonia. "Ok, I get what happened. Now pull your hands away. She's staring at you again," the creature said, but before Zach could do that, Sonia looked at his hands which had stopped trembling and let go.

"Zach, are you ok now?" Sonia asked as she stared at him with misty eyes.

"Mm, I'm fine. It's not like I got hurt or something," he said.

"I see." 

Sonia's gaze traveled down to Zach's slender nose, pinkish lips, well-sculpted jaw, and inviting neck. Then she leaned in and grabbed his shoulders.

"Zach…" she said softly before pulling back.

"Hm?" he asked as he unconsciously pulled Sonia in again through her waist.
