All these while, Kaizer didn't say anything. He watched his mother disappear into the passageway, before he moved his gaze back to Lisa who seemed to be frowning with lots of questions on her mind. Questions he has no answers to, yet.
"Do you know anything about your mother's friendship with my mother?" she asked.
Kaizer shook his head. "As far as I know, she only has one friend and has never talked about anyone else but Dicky's mother."
"My mother had no friends. She was a workaholic but had plenty of time for me and my Dad. Hearing your mother say that with hidden pain in her voice is unsettling."
Kaizer pursed his lips with a lot going on in his mind, still he consoled her, "Don't worry too much about what she said. She might come around and tell you in the future, moreover, you're living here now."
