The tables were turned, and the fierce-looking security guard was instantly deferential to Charles.

The man who was beaten was stunned. He obviously didn't expect things to turn out like this. He cried hysterically, "What's going on? Why don't you arrest them?"

"Shut up!" The guard's expression became tense, and I saw sweat on his forehead. He turned to the security guards behind him and shouted, "Cover his mouth and throw him out. Don't let him disturb Mr. McLean."

Before the poor man could react, he had been dragged out by several muscular men.

Charles snorted and held my hand. "Let's go."

I could only trot after him.

I was curious about the card that Charles showed him, and that may have played a key role.
