To celebrate the successful completion of the interview feature, Lilian hosted a dinner for all the editors at an upscale private restaurant.

Despite having both Lilian and CEO Nathan present, it was already after working hours, and everyone was in good spirits, which quickly relaxed the initially tense atmosphere at the table.

Even the usually serious Lilian raised her glass and shared jokes with everyone.

"Thanks to Kayla's hard work, we've created an almost perfect debut interview for Dawn Fashion Magazine. Now, let's raise our glasses to her dedication. May our magazine skyrocket to success!"

With Lilian's words, even Amanda, who had been sitting beside me with a disdainful expression, had to stand up with everyone and clink glasses with me.
