章 29: Chocolate cake

The next day, Thonio, Diego and Leo went out like the previous day but this time, they left rather early. Tessy didn't ask about them knowing they had gone to carry out their 'base of operation'.

Mason knocked on her door but there was no answer. She was inside but didn't feel like answering the door.

Without waiting for a response, Mason opened the door and walked in to see her sitting at the dressing table, brushing her hair. He could see that she was lost deep down in her thoughts. He walked up to her and placed his hands on her shoulders.

"Isn't it too early to start thinking?" He asked and she stopped. She dropped the brush but didn't say anything thereafter. Then, without permission, he started massaging her shoulders gently.

"Did you work at the spa?" She asked out of the blue and without waiting for an answer, she added, "You're so good at this."
