What made matters worse was that Giancarlo didn't object to the title Nina had bestowed upon him and instead joined Nina at the dinner table, smiling.

When the principal saw Giancarlo, he also felt like he had seen him before. The principal welcomed him with open arms, knowing that he was Jazmine's husband. "Excuse me, but I'm Nina's teacher. May I ask what your name is?"

He simply said, "Giancarlo," as he had no idea what was wrong with the kid.

His name stuck out, and even Mrs. Tudor glanced in his direction whenever he spoke.

She was quieter than the others, and all she did was nod at him, which Giancarlo did as well.
