Gloria's eyes flickered. Seeing that Karen's eyes were unconsciously filled with happiness, her eyes flashed a hint of envy.
Although Joseph had never liked her, he loved Karen so much and doted on her.
Karen still felt happy. It was true love. They had truly held hands for their whole life.
Gloria smiled, "I know Grandpa loves you, but Grandma, don't argue with him because of me."
"Don't worry. Nothing's going on between your grandfather and me, and we've never argued because of you."
Gloria pursed his lips. She knew that no matter what she said, Karen would not change. She would still stand by her and stick up for her.
She was moved but also felt helpless. She didn't want her grandmother to be influenced by her case.
The two elders were getting on in years, so they were not so strong compared with their youth.
As she thought of this, Gloria grabbed Karen's hand again. Her fingertips accidentally touched Karen's pulse.
