Rachel pursed her lips and said nothing, signaling her to continue.
The head of the design department pushed her glasses back onto her nose and said, "Actually, our design hits a bottleneck, but this is not about our style. It's just that customers become pickier, and designers find it hard to deal with that."
She sounded as if she was trying to evade her responsibility.
Rachel looked at her with a frown. "It's hard to satisfy every customer indeed, but you have to make adjustments."
The director shook her head and said, "No, no, Miss Roberts, I wasn't saying we had a design problem. Instead, I'm stating the fact that there is no problem with our design in terms of color palette and distribution. Our team works hard. I think if a top designer joins us, or we just use good her name, we'll have a breakthrough."
Rachel's face dropped. She didn't say anything.
